The First iF Foundation Volunteer of the Year Award Presented to The Rev. Gabriel Michel

Father Gabriel Michel, a Roman Catholic priest born in Cap Haitien and raised in Grand-Riviere-du Nord, Haiti is currently the pastor of Saint Yves Parish in Thibeau, where the iF Foundation works. The iF Foundation recently presented Father Gabriel Michel (affectionately known as Fr. Gaby) with the first iF Foundation Volunteer of the Year Award.

Fr. Gaby received his Bachelor of Sacred Theology at the Grand Seminary Notre-Dame in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and was ordained to the priesthood on May 5, 1991. Fr. Gaby served as pastor of Saint Cecilia Parish in La Victoire, Haiti for 8 years. He then attended the Weston Jesuit School of Theology in Cambridge, MA where he received a Masters Degree in Pastoral Theology.

Fr. Gaby is a well loved priest in the community of Thibeau and is committed to enriching the lives of those he touches. He continually supports the efforts of the iF Foundation and we are proud to recognize him as a loyal friend and supporter.

Fr. Gaby plays the bass guitar and loves all animals.
